HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED HELP WITH A DRUG OR ALCOHOL PROBLEM?  Alcohol and substance abuse can destroy your life and the lives of those you love. The following questions are designed to help you see if you or your loved one is at risk. It is important to note that this is only a guide. IF THE ANSWER TO ANY OF THESE QUESTIONS US YES, YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE MAY HAVE A SERIOUS SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEM THAT REQUIRES HELP. 

Have you ever wanted to stop drinking or using drugs but couldn't?
Has your family objected because you were drinking or using drugs too often?
Have you ever had job (or school) problems because of drinking or drug use?
Did you ever need a drink or to use drugs immediately after you had gotten up in the morning?
Have you ever gotten into trouble because of drinking or drug use -such as having an automobile accident or being arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol or an illegal substance?
Have you ever gotten into physical fights while drinking or using drugs?
Do you often drink or use drugs alone to relieve stress or depression?

If you or your loved one answered yes to any of these questions, Professional intervention may be necessary.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I CONTACT COUNSELING CARE ASSOCIATES FOR HELP WITH MY DRUG OR ALCOHOL PROBLEM?  At Counseling Care, our trained staff is ready to help you determine if further treatment is needed. We offer outpatient counseling at our sites for both the addict and Loved ones in his or her life. Our counseling philosophy incorporates a twelve-step approach to encourage the recovery of all involved in this family disease.

DOES COUNSELING CAR OFFER SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUALS CONVICTED OF DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED (DWI)?  Yes! We provide outpatient counseling individual setting for convicted DWI drivers who have been remanded into treatment by an intoxicated Driver's Resource Center (IDRC).
